Veterinary Clinics

Repairs planned around patients under care, not around whatever is easiest for the crew that day.

Chapter 01

A harder building to work in than it looks

A veterinary clinic is not a quiet office. There are animals under care in the building while the work happens, some of them recovering, some of them anxious about strangers with tools, and every one of them more sensitive to noise, fumes and strong smells than a person would be.

Sanding drywall down the hall from a kennel or leaving a fresh coat of oil based paint curing overnight is not the same job it would be in a retail unit. The plan has to account for the animals first and the paint schedule second.

Low VOC materials, minimal disruption

The published approach for clinic work is low VOC materials and minimal disruption around patient care, which in practice means choosing paints and finishes that off gas less and timing the messier parts of a job for when the clinic can absorb the noise and smell.

The actual work covers painting, drywall repair, flooring repair and installation, carpentry, and fixture repairs, the same repairs any commercial building needs, just carried out with the clinic's patients in mind rather than around them.

Chapter 03

Scheduling and the warranty

The office answers Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, and clinic work can often be arranged after hours or on a day the schedule allows, by request, so patient care is never competing with a paint crew in the same hallway.

Every repair carries the same lifetime labor warranty the rest of the business runs on, and a new commercial client gets ten percent off their first service. A call to (214) 676-8575 is the fastest way to talk through timing.
